Local Spotlight: Pam Grier Hosts A Special Screening of Jackie Brown at Boulder's International Film Series TONIGHT!
Boulder's esteemed International Film Series hosts a special engagement for the Miramax College Tour at the University of Colorado-Boulder tonight with a special appearance by Pam Grier to host a Q & A following a screening of her hit film Jackie Brown.
"The Baddest One-Chick Hit Squad In Town" earned a Golden Globe for Best Actress for her brilliant portrayal of the title character in Quentin Tarantino's dazzling and under-appreciated adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel "Rum Punch".
The exclusive Q & A is sponsored by Miramax Films, the IFS, and the Boulder International Film Series and will be moderated by IFS Director Pablo Kjolseth. The event is FREE for CU students and will be open to audience questions. Additionally, Miramax will host a live stream on Facebook via Tiny Chat at www.facebook.com/miramax and www.facebook.com/JackieBrownMovie allowing the public to post questions in real-time.
The JACKIE BROWN screening will take place at 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 18th at C.U. Boulder’s Muenzinger Auditorium, just west of the Folsom Football stadium. The Q&A with Ms. Grier will begin promptly after the screening. Admission for non-students is 7$.
